1. Nutritonal Solutions (nutritional-solutions.net)
During my search for cancer resources I connected with Rick Shapiro, who lost his father to cancer after a long painful battle in the conventional treatment system. Rick put together latestagecancer.com, a resource blog with information he wishes he had when he was helping his father with his cancer.
I’ve found Rick to be rational and skeptical–two characteristics that serve you well when wading through the vast number of cancer resources and hype on the Internet.
Rick referred me to nutritional-solutions.com and gave them high marks for their integrative approach using cutting edge nutritional strategies for battling cancer. If you’re in an area with no integrative oncologists or treatment facilities (i.e. no one that combines the best possible conventional treatment with science based nutritional and lifestyle strategies) Nutritional Solutions may be a viable resource to add on to your conventional treatment program.
They do charge. But to put it in perspective I have a close friend who is in late stage palliative, hospice treatment. His total bill for conventional treatments (surgery, chemo and radiation) are about a million dollars. If integrative strategies maximize your results (i.e. lifespan and quality of life) for a tiny fraction of that I personally think it’s well worth it.
