PhIP: The three-strikes breast carcinogen and how to reduce exposure to it

Dr. Michael Greger briefly discusses how the carcinogen PhIP promotes cancer at three levels (1. causing cell mutation 2. promoting growth 3. promoting invasiveness) and knowing where it’s found so we can reduce exposure to it.

NOTE: I’m not a vegan or vegetarian and am not trying to promote such diets. But I believe that knowing the science behind the diets that best prevent cancer or fight existing cancer helps us to make better choices and reduce our risk and strengthen our bodies to better fight cancer and recover from conventional cancer treatments (chemo, radiation and surgery).
