NOTE: The best source of lignans should be bought as ground “meal”. In my case I buy it finely ground at a local Vitamin World. Taken whole the hard coating normally protects it and it goes through the digestive tract whole (i.e. without allowing you to absorb the anticancer nutrients you want).
